Vintage Martin Handcraft Silver Plated Bb Tenor Trombone Gold Wash Bell with Original Case Just Serviced

Up for sale is a vintage Martin Handcraft silver plated tenor Bb trombone. This silver plated trombone, with a gold wash bell, was just chemically cleaned and serviced here in our repair shop. The horn was made around 1927, in the USA, serial number 72090. The slide section is pressure fit, not screwed, into the bell section. This is an early design where the tuning slide is built into the slide instead of the bell section like on modern day horns. All the tuning slide moves freely and the slide is smooth, but with some minor friction from the tuning slide that in built into the slide.. There is some wear and solder marks throughout this horn. It comes in its original case, which is structurally sound, but is missing a latch and shows some significant wear. No mouthpiece included.
