Up for sale is a used Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Closet Classic electric guitar. This guitar was a recent trade in. The guitar came in with a Musikraft Blackguard 0514 replacement neck on it. The neck was stained and the decals added on to it. The nut may have been changed. The guitar needs a 42 mm one, and this one is wider than that. There are some gaps where the replacement neck meets the body (check out the pictures). The guitar plays well and sounds great. It’s fairly light, too, weighing in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces. The electronics were all tested here in our shop and work as they should. It was recently rewired to the “Broadcaster with Blend” wiring diagram. It comes with its certificate of authenticity from Fender and the serial number on the bridge, R7023, matches the serial number on the certificate. The guitar was made in 2007. The body has the Fender “F” and “Rel” stamped under the pickguard. The guitar shows some wear: scratches and dings, especially on the back and lower bout of the body. I would it call it fair cosmetic condition. It comes in a hard case, that is also not original to the guitar, but it is structurally sound and all the latches function.
