Up for sale is a used Fender Custom Shop ’60 Stratocaster Closet Classic electric guitar. This one was built in in Fender’s Custom Shop in 2000, serial number R9216. It is in good cosmetic condition. The Fiesta Red finish does show some checking throughout, and finish has a couple of minor dings that are in the pictures. The checking and the dings look to be done at the factory according to the build sheet: “Built as if bought new in its respective year and played a few times a year and then put carefully away. Has a few small dings, checked finish, oxidized hardware, and aged plastic parts”. It comes with its original Custom Shop case, whammy bar and bumper sticker. Fender sent me the build sheet for this guitar, so I have all the specs:
